8/1/00 Site Traffic UP! ~ For the month of July the total number of hits on the FrederickCounty.com server were more the 166,000. This is up from about 115,000 the past two months. There are two primary reasons for the increase: 1) We have added more than 50 sponsors to the site in the last two months and each of these sponsor's pages has been registered with about 1000 Internet search engines. 2) At the end of July we secured the URL Frederick.com and it now points to the FrederickCounty.com site. We expect these two factors to continue to drive traffic counts up in August. In the mean time, if you own a business in Frederick and wish to sponsor this site the time to join is now!
